Role Overview
The Fit-Out Engineer acts as the technical leader on site for interior fit-out delivery.
The role covers execution to quality standards, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the fit-out lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy, feasibility, and design compliance.
- Manage site activities, workforce allocation, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Resolve technical issues and challenges during fit-out execution.
- Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
- Track costs, expenses, and timelines against project budgets and deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections and implement quality control processes.
- Maintain site safety protocols and health standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for timely service and material delivery.
- Coordinate material procurement with the procurement team to avoid delays.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and fit-out processes.
