Overview
The Fit-Out Architect bridges design intent and construction delivery, developing detailed architectural and interior fit-out drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and managing technical design submissions for villa, commercial, and hospitality fit-out projects in the UAE/GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed architectural fit-out drawings including reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), floor finish plans, wall elevations, joinery details, and material schedules.
- Translate concept designs and design intent drawings into construction-ready shop drawing packages.
- Coordinate fit-out design with MEP, structural, and specialist subcontractor drawings to produce clash-free integrated packages.
- Manage authority approval submissions for fit-out works with UAE local authorities (DM, Trakhees, Civil Defence, SEWA).
- Prepare and track material submittals, samples, and mock-up approvals.
- Respond to site RFIs and technical queries with accurate and timely design clarifications.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings for design compliance and mark up comments.
- Support the design team in client presentations, design development workshops, and value engineering exercises.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and document management for assigned projects
