In this role, you will design, implement, and debug low-level firmware for storage controllers, with a primary focus on RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) functionality on ARM based microprocessors. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver product features aligned with customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Develop new features and maintain firmware for storage products
Work on storage products supporting PCIe, NVMe and/or SAS/SATA protocols
Support product solution validation and firmware release activities
Gather and analyze logs to root cause and resolve functional, performance and data integrity issues
Participate in storage product feature design and implementation reviews
Collaborate with hardware and validation teams for system integration
Troubleshoot low-level firmware and hardware interaction issues using DSTREAM and logical analyzers
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in CS, ECE, or EE and 2+ years of related experience, or
Master’s degree in CS, ECE, or EE
Strong programming skills in C (and assembly language is desirable).
