Identify and resolve issues in complex industrial fire detection projects, including environmental and code-related challenges
Interface with design teams, contractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure successful delivery of fire and life safety systems (fire and gas detection, alarm, suppression, and life safety integration)
Perform design coordination and quality control on assigned projects; collaborate with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with CAD support technicians to prepare detailed technical submissions, including schematics and drawings; oversee preparation of system operation documents, calculations, and submission packages for medium- to large-scale systems

Ensure compliance with NBC, BCBC, ULC S524, S537, S1001, and NFPA requirements throughout the project lifecycle (design, fabrication, testing, and commissioning)
Review completed submissions for equipment application, compatibility, and compliance; approve bills of materials (BOMs) to support construction
Effective Communication: Ensure efficient communication and coordination among all project stakeholders
Client Interaction: Engage extensively with clients, vendor representatives, and project field personnel
Client Satisfaction: Maintain strong client relationships and high levels of satisfaction
Problem Solving: Perform assignments with minimal direction and provide solutions to complex problems
Client Engagement: Participate in job site visits, client meetings, and presentations
Technological Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements
This position involves local travel and on-site work as required
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $39-$54 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
