Fire & Emergency Response Management
- Lead and manage all fire and emergency response activities, including fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials response, and incident control.
- Lead emergency incidents to protect personnel, facilities, and operations, ensuring rapid recovery and business continuity.
Fire Prevention & Protection Systems
- Oversee inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, fire stations, fire trucks, and firefighting equipment.
- Manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) programs using SAP Plant Maintenance modules.
- Coordinate fire risk assessments, audits, and scope of work related to fire safety systems and emergency preparedness.
Training & Competency Development
- Develop, implement, and deliver ERT (Emergency Response Team) and fire brigade training programs, drills, and simulations.
- Serve as Fire Instructor / Train the Trainer (TOT) for fire safety, emergency response, and life safety programs.
- Prepare and execute annual and multi-year emergency drill programs, including site-wide and integrated drills (e.g., JAMAA drills).
- Conduct fire safety awareness programs for employees and contractors, including fire extinguisher use, emergency control plans, and building marshal training.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards (including NFPA 1041, 1072, 1081) and EHSS management systems.
- Participate as a core member of Emergency Preparedness & Response committees.
- Review and implement fire and emergency-related procedures and standard operating instructions.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and supervise fire supervisors, fire leaders, and emergency response personnel.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and EHSS teams to ensure fire safety integration.
- Provide technical input for new projects, modifications, and commissioning related to fire protection systems.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare reports, presentations, and KPI dashboards related to fire safety performance and incident trends.
- Lead fire safety campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support audits, investigations, and management reviews related to fire incidents.
