The Fire Fighting Technician works within the Maintenance / Fire & Safety department.

The role covers installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection and firefighting systems.

The technician must help ensure equipment remains operational and complies with applicable safety standards and company requirements.

Install, maintain, inspect, and repair firefighting systems and equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire pumps, jockey pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, extinguishers, alarms, detection systems, suppression systems, valves, pipes, and pressure gauges.
Test fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, and emergency systems regularly.
Identify faults and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and checklists.

Respond to fire system alarms and emergency situations when required.
Ensure firefighting equipment is accessible, properly maintained, and ready for use.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
