Directly reporting to the Aerodrome ARFFS Line Leader, your primary objectives include:

Ensure operational preparedness of ARFF staff, vehicles and equipment are capable of providing a high standard of emergency response during advertised hours of operations.

Develop, implement and review, local safety management systems that satisfy ARFF and CASA compliance standards.

Respond to and take charge of emergency incidents in accordance with local instruction and ARFF Incident Control System

Ensure that resources are managed in a manner that reflects ARFF objectives of being a commercially driven and competitive organisation.

To be considered for this position it is essential you:

Hold a current Aviation ARFF Diploma in Fire Fighting Management and

Have a demonstrated ability to implement ARFF incident control strategies and tactics at emergencies .

Your proven leadership and facilitation skills and your ability to clearly communicate ARFF strategic directions and objectives will see you succeed in this role.
