Financing Specialist

We’re looking for two collaborative and self-motivated individuals to come on board as Financing Specialists to support our Commercial Business Advisors.

As a Financing Specialist you are responsible for strong business, financial, and credit analysis to provide enhanced solutions and recommendations that support our members' financial goals and grow our business. You will work alongside our sales team of Business Advisors to create credit solutions that balance Conexus risk tolerance and deliver a high level of service to our members.

Analyzing commercial and agricultural financial information to prepare high-quality credit recommendations and lending solutions that support member success.

Completing financial analysis, cash flow assessments, and financial statement reviews to evaluate risk, repayment capacity, and overall business performance.

Collaborating with Business Advisors to manage member portfolios, complete annual reviews and renewals, and proactively monitor conditions, covenants, and emerging risks.

Ensuring credit files, documentation, and funding requirements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with Conexus policies and risk expectations.

Driving continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, sharing expertise, and contributing to strong service, quality, productivity, and risk outcomes.

The experience you bring

Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, Finance, or Economics or a related field

2+ years of experience in a business lending role, supporting commercial credit adjudication

Well-developed credit underwriting and risk assessment ability

Financial statement knowledge, including ratio analysis and cash flow
