Role Overview
FlyAkeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to support financial reporting preparation, analysis, and review.
The role focuses on compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and reporting requirements.
The preferred background includes experience at a leading audit firm, Financial Management & Valuation knowledge, and professional certification such as CMA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
- Review reporting data and accounting treatments for accuracy, completeness, integrity, and compliance.
- Coordinate with finance teams, stakeholders, and external auditors on reporting requirements and audit queries.
- Support year-end closing and analyze results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Assist with financial models, forecasts, valuation analyses, reporting controls, and process improvements.
- Prepare management presentations and analysis, monitor reporting risks, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, financial management, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in an audit firm is required.
- Experience in Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) is highly preferred.
- Strong experience with financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Previous experience working with external auditors and managing audit requirements.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good understanding of financial management and valuation concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial reporting systems or ERP.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
