Role Description

We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Finance Director to join our team, with primary ownership of financial data integrity, reporting, and control processes.

• Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the regional financial strategy in alignment with global corporate objectives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, multi-year financial planning, and rolling forecasting processes.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth, capital investment, and operational decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to building out our International Finance Team in KSA

• Financial Operations & Controls

  • Oversee all financial operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cost accounting, and treasury.
  • Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment consistent with corporate standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain ERP and financial systems aligned to manufacturing operations (SAP)

• Compliance, Tax & Regulatory Affairs

  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian and US tax regulations, GAAP/IFRS standards, and Zakat obligations.
  • Liaise with local regulatory authorities, external auditors, and banking institutions.
  • Manage transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions in accordance with global guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of Vision 2030 initiatives and localization (Saudization / Nitaqat) compliance requirements.

• Manufacturing & Cost Finance

  • Partner with operations leadership to drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and capital efficiency.
  • Oversee product costing, standard cost development, variance analysis, and gross margin management.
  • Lead make-vs-buy analysis, CapEx justification, and return-on-investment evaluations.
  • Support supply chain and procurement teams with supplier cost analysis and contract financial review.

• Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as a strategic business partner to the regional Managing Director and senior leadership team.
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic plans to global leadership and senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional finance team, building local talent and capability.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, government entities, and external advisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years at the Director / CFO level.
  • Proven track record in automotive supply, manufacturing, or engineering sector finance.
  • Experience managing finance for a mid-to-large operation (500+ employees or $100M+ revenue).
  • Prior exposure to Saudi Arabia business environment, Vision 2030 initiatives, or GCC regulatory frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, ERP systems, and financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with ERP platforms (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel / financial planning tools.
