Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Prepare management reports, financial statements, and performance dashboards
- Develop and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and accounting policies
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Support investor reporting, fundraising activities, and financial due diligence processes
- Partner with founders and leadership teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision making
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, banking partners, and advisors
- Oversee treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting functions
- Drive finance process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline
- CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Experience within FinTech, Payments, Banking, Financial Services, Lending, Wealth Management, or other regulated industries
- Experience managing audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
- Experience working with ERP and financial management systems

- Ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
