Meet myZoi

  • myZoi is a fintech start up aiming to promote financial inclusion globally.
  • We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with 10 12 years of experience to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Financial Transactions: Manage and supervise all daily financial operations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, forecast cash requirements, maintain working capital.
  • Ensure Accuracy & Timeliness: Record transactions accurately in accordance with IFRS.
  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports: Lead preparation of financial statements.
  • Financial Analysis & Insights: Provide in depth analysis, variance analysis, forecasting.
  • Financial KPIs: Develop, track, and report on key metrics.
  • Tax Compliance & Reporting: Oversee tax returns, VAT filings, statutory obligations.
  • Regulatory Filings: Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank, SCA, etc.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage and liaise with external auditors.
  • Enhance Internal Controls: Establish, review, improve internal control systems.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure business is audit ready.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 12 years in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Preferably in fintech, financial services, or a startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar certifications highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS, VAT, tax laws.
  • Advanced skills in financial software (MS Dynamics, SAP, QuickBooks), Excel, financial modeling.
  • Experience with Power BI and data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
