Role Description
The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees financial operations, financial statements, general ledger activities, and accurate and timely financial reporting.
The role monitors budgets and forecasts, analyzes financial performance, and provides insights for strategic decisions.
Core Duties
- Supervise accounting processes, ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies, coordinate audits, and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost management, cash flow planning, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and analytical skills are required.
- Candidates need financial statement, financial reporting, and accounting skills covering ledgers and reconciliations.
- A relevant university degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is required.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is an advantage.
- Senior finance or controller experience is required, with manufacturing, industrial, or construction experience preferred.
- Strong ERP knowledge and advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills are required.
- Candidates must work on-site in Sharjah, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
