About the Role
Global Consultancy Network LLC seeks a Financial Analyst to support the FP&A function for a multinational gas company. The role involves turning financial results into decision-ready insights, preparing performance packs, and analyzing business drivers.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and enhance monthly performance packs, board materials, ExCo updates, and CFO analysis with concise commentary and actionable messages
- Translate complex financial movements into simple business narratives covering revenue, GPADE, EBITDA, net profit, cash flow, capex, working capital, and country level performance
- Review actual results versus budget, forecast, prior year, and run rate expectations across countries, products, customers, and business lines
- Identify the real reasons behind performance movements, including volume, price, mix, standard cost, sourcing, distribution, utilization, and overhead drivers
- Challenge country and business unit forecasts by testing assumptions, reconciling movements to operational drivers, and highlighting gaps versus targets
- Build and maintain scenario analysis for inflation, pricing, volume shifts, customer/product profitability, capex phasing, and margin sensitivity
- Analyze price realization, cost pass through, customer profitability, product margins, and market segment performance to support commercial decisions
- Highlight where margin movement is structural versus temporary, and recommend areas for management focus
- Review standard cost versus actual cost trends, production cost movements, logistics impact, plant utilization, sourcing changes, and operational inefficiencies
- Partner with finance, operations, and commercial teams to convert cost variances into practical actions
- Work with OneStream, Power BI, D365, Excel, Power Query, and large datasets to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and speed
- Support the shift from manual reporting to structured, repeatable analysis
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor degree in Accounting or Economics; advanced degree considered an advantage
- Minimum 2 4 years of work experience in a similar position
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial gases, chemicals, distribution, logistics, or any asset heavy environment with cost, production, and margin complexity
- Exposure to group reporting, consolidation, board packs, management presentations, investment cases, IPO readiness, or strategic business planning
- Hands on experience improving reporting processes, automating recurring analysis, or building dynamic dashboards and models
- Strong FP&A mindset with ability to move beyond reporting into analysis, interpretation, and business challenge
- Comfortable working with P&L, EBITDA, gross margin, standard cost, capex, working capital, cash flow, and forecast assumptions
- Able to convert large volumes of data into clear insights, short executive commentary, and practical management actions
- Strong Excel and analytical modelling skills; Power Query, Power BI, DAX, SQL, Python, OneStream, or D365 exposure would be a strong advantage
- Naturally curious, detail oriented, and willing to investigate why numbers moved
- Confident communicator who can work with senior stakeholders
