Role Overview
The Financial Analyst supports defined-contribution plan administration processes for client and administrative teams.
The role requires an understanding of financial services, particularly 401(k) plan administration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Complete assigned process tasks within specified parameters for client, administration, or support teams.
- Process loans, distributions, census, trust accounting, packaging, Form 5500, and valuation imports as required.
- Deliver expected productivity, volume, and quality metrics.
- Review processed work according to team requirements.
- Accurately process high volumes within specified time frames.
- Identify process issues or problems and escalate them to the appropriate team lead.
Education and Experience
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in finance or accounting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a flexible, results-oriented environment.
Skill Requirements
- Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn independently and work in a team environment.
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; good working knowledge of Excel is preferred.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on business requirements.
- Good knowledge of reconciliation concepts.
