Financial Analyst

Roles and responsibilities

• Support day-to-day billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and finance operations activities.
• Reconcile payments, refunds, invoices, and other financial transactions across systems.
• Review returned payments, refunds, and payment-related discrepancies with guidance from senior team members.
• Perform pre-billing and post-billing checks to identify billing errors and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Prepare invoices, commission reports, expense reports, and other financial documentation.
• Support monthly financial reporting by collecting, validating, and maintaining accurate financial data.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and reporting errors and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve finance and payment-related queries.
• Assist with financial process changes, system implementations, operational improvements, and routine transaction audits.
• Support AP, AR, GL, taxation, audit, record-keeping, and internal-control activities under supervision.

Must have

• 0–2 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts, including AP, AR, GL, invoicing, expenses, and reconciliation.
• Basic understanding of payment and billing processes and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, follow established processes, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
