Job Description
The Financial Analyst will join the FP&A team and support budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting across the organization.
The role partners with Finance and business teams to convert financial and operational data into insights for business decisions.
The role is based at the employer’s Home Office in Calgary, Alberta.
What You’ll Do
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and consolidating financial information.
- Prepare forecasts and models using actual results, business trends, and operational assumptions.
- Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis and highlight performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare analysis, management reporting, and commentary for business reviews.
- Analyze financial and operational performance across more than 400 locations and a manufacturing facility.
- Develop reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Support automation and process improvements that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
- Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from NetSuite, OneStream, and other systems.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other business teams.
- Support financial modeling, scenario analysis, business cases, ad hoc analysis, and leadership initiatives.
