Role Overview
Advise high-value personal and small business clients on banking, investments, credit, and financial goals.
Build trusted client relationships and collaborate with RBC partners to provide relevant advice.
Responsibilities
- Attract, nurture, and grow personal and small business client relationships.
- Uncover client needs, provide client-centric advice, and resolve concerns proactively.
- Address complex credit and investment needs with appropriate solutions.
- Educate clients on digital self-service and connect through preferred channels.
- Develop local community relationships that support acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid mutual funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- Canada excluding Quebec: completed Designated Financial Services Advisor designation through the Canadian Securities Institute.
- Quebec: completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance through the Canadian Securities Institute.
- 2–3 years of financial services sales experience handling credit and investments.
- Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, and similar devices.
