Role Overview

  • We are looking for a hands on Finance Supervisor to oversee the daily accounting operations and supervise a finance team of approximately 10 employees.
  • The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, effective team coordination, and continuous improvement of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of the finance and accounting team.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure timely month end and year end closing.
  • Prepare financial reports and management reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
  • Support ERP and system improvements.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate finance team members.
  • Work closely with management to provide accurate financial information and support decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading accounting or finance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Focus, Odoo, or similar).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred: Real Estate, FMCG, Distribution, Manufacturing, Multi company environments.
