- Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts across projects and business functions.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow, identifying and explaining variances.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support project feasibility assessments, investment decisions, and business planning.
- Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and Business Review Meeting presentations for senior leadership.
- Support cash flow planning and liquidity management at both project and corporate levels.
- Work closely with Development, Sales, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure financial objectives are aligned.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls, and company policies.
- Review and oversee accounting transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Drive process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and data accuracy across the finance function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team while supporting key business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- 5–6 years of finance experience within the real estate development industry
- Strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and financial reporting requirements
- Proven ability to review and ensure proper accounting entries and financial bookings
- Previous experience leading a team and making commercially sound financial decisions
- SAP experience is highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
