About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day to day activities of the finance and accounting team
- Lead preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including group consolidation and segment reporting
- Oversee collection and reconciliation of fees from customers, ensuring timely billing, collections, and cash flow management
- Manage vendor relationships and payment processes, ensuring effective vendor governance, cost control, and service delivery
- Oversee payroll processing and act as key finance partner to HR on employee related financial matters
- Lead pricing and financial evaluation of new business opportunities, providing commercial insights and profitability analysis
- Oversee preparation, review, and submission of all direct and indirect tax filings (VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing)
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory reporting requirements, including submissions to Central Bank
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, statutory auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Provide financial analysis, business insights, and performance reporting to support decision making
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent accounting certification
- Proven experience (10+ years) in accounting and taxation, with a focus on managing complex financial matters
- In depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as tax laws and regulations of UAE and India
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results
