Responsibilities
- Oversee group accounting, month end close, consolidation and management reporting
- Manage VAT, Corporate Tax, e invoicing, statutory compliance and external audits
- Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, FP&A and performance analysis
- Perform financial modelling for pricing, capital expenditure, funding, investments and expansion
- Manage cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital
- Analyse landed cost, inventory valuation, product costing, production yield, waste, and margin
- Maintain internal controls, finance policies, approval processes and risk management
- Improve finance systems, process automation and reporting
- Lead and develop the central finance and accounting team
- Provide financial support to management, commercial, procurement, warehouse and production teams
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent)
- Strong financial accounting, consolidation, reporting and control capability
- Hands on knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e invoicing
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and financial modelling skills
- Experience managing cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital
- Experience in food distribution, retail, or processing/manufacturing business
- Strong understanding of landed cost, inventory, product costing, yield, and waste
- Experience improving finance systems, processes, controls, and reporting
- Ability to lead teams and communicate clearly across the business

Overview
- We are looking for a hands on, commercially minded finance leader to lead our central finance function across a multi market food business.
- The role will oversee the finance and accounting team supporting our food distribution and meat and seafood processing operations.
What You Will Own
- Group accounting, month end close, consolidation and management reporting.
- VAT, Corporate Tax, e invoicing, statutory compliance and external audits.
- Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, FP&A and performance analysis.

The Best Fit
- You are a qualified accountant, either a CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent, with strong technical knowledge and practical commercial experience.
- Strong financial accounting, consolidation, reporting and control capability.
- Hands on knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e invoicing.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and financial modelling skills.
- Experience managing cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital.
- Experience in food distribution, retail, or processing/manufacturing business.

Job Location
- The role is based at our headquarters in Dubai Investment Park and may require occasional local and international travel.
Reporting
- The role reports directly to the Managing Director or another executive, as assigned.
