Requirements

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, audit processes, and financial compliance standards

- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
- Experience in international organizations, NGOs, or agricultural/agribusiness sectors is beneficial

Role Description
- The Finance Manager role at Secretaría Ejecutiva Consejo Agropecuario Centroamericano is a part time position based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on site presence and remote work.
- The Finance Manager will oversee day to day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and the preparation of periodic financial statements and management reports.
- This role will monitor expenditures against budgets, ensure accurate recording of transactions, and maintain compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations.
- The Finance Manager will coordinate audits, support grant and project accounting, and collaborate with program and administrative teams to provide financial analysis for decision making.
- The role also includes improving financial processes, implementing internal controls, and supporting leadership with strategic financial planning and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, audit processes, and financial compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; comfort working with digital financial tools and databases.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a part time, hybrid setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience in international organizations, NGOs, or agricultural/agribusiness sectors is beneficial.
