Finance Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze performance, trends, and variances and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct feasibility studies independently, including financial modelling and commercial viability assessment.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Manage compliance with accounting standards, regulations, internal policies, and UAE tax requirements.
• Identify financial risks, implement controls, and protect company assets and financial data accuracy.
• Provide strategic advice, evaluate investments, and support capital allocation decisions.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Partner with business departments to align financial strategy with organizational objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team and identify development needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of progressive financial management or accounting experience within the UAE.
• Leadership experience with exposure to strategic financial decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, UAE taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• An MBA, MSc, or professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, or CMA is advantageous.
