The Intern - Treasury Administrator supports the Treasury team with day-to-day administrative activities, with a primary focus on banking user access administration and process documentation.
The role also supports Accounts Payable by helping document, organize, and improve existing processes and workflows.
What you will be doing:
• Prepare and submit bank forms to add, update, or remove users from online banking platforms.
• Assist with transitioning banking access for newly acquired entities.
• Track and follow up on submitted banking requests with banks and authorized signatories to support timely completion.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of banking users, access permissions, and authorized signatory documentation.
• Communicate with banks and internal teams to help resolve basic banking access issues.
• Document Treasury and Accounts Payable processes, including clear step-by-step workflows.
• Create and update process documents, guides, and templates.
• Work with team members to ensure documentation reflects current day-to-day practices and is maintained in a central location.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps or inconsistencies in existing processes.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to document procedures and support basic administrative tasks, such as tracking invoices or approvals.
• Follow established procedures to ensure banking and AP activities are properly approved and documented, and maintain records that support audits and internal reviews.
• Escalate discrepancies or issues to senior team members as appropriate.
• Provide general administrative support to Treasury and Finance teams and assist with small projects and process improvement initiatives.
You have:
• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow structured processes and document them accurately and clearly.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Experience with process documentation or SOP creation is an asset.
• An interest in Treasury, Accounts Payable, or broader Finance operations is an asset.
