Role Overview
Lead the partnership between Finance and Gulf business directors to achieve strategic and operational goals in line with company strategy.
Provide financial insight, advice, guidance, and support to business and functional leaders to influence decision-making and performance.
Serve as a finance business expert who shapes strategy, identifies opportunities, and mitigates business risks.
Core Responsibilities
- Focus on consolidated management reporting.
- Establish and maintain Group Policy in key technical and specialist areas and manage associated risks.
- Provide reports and analysis to support decision-making and deliver day-to-day operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Gulf Finance and global central teams to share best practices and support the business consistently and efficiently.
Business Strategy & Decision Support
- Understand future financial information needs and produce solutions such as business cases, benefits tracking, and KPIs.
- Communicate across teams, business units, and external parties to achieve positive outcomes.
- Participate in reviewing and developing short- and long-term strategy within the area of accountability.
Financial Control
- Work with the Gulf Financial Controller on the Financial Control Framework.
- Help ensure that high standards of controllership are maintained.
