Partner with Sales leadership to improve visibility from pipeline to bookings to recognized and forecasted revenue.
Use HubSpot, contractual commitments, historical performance, and other data to build and maintain reliable revenue forecasts.
Help establish clear reporting around bookings, pipeline, renewals, revenue, and other commercial metrics.

Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, strategic finance, FP&A, accounting/finance operations, or a related role. Exceptional candidates with somewhat less or more experience are welcome.
A strong financial and analytical foundation, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and actual-versus-plan analysis.

Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to company leadership.
A genuine interest in building the systems, processes, and discipline required to scale a growing company.

Experience in an early-stage or growth-stage company where you operated with a high degree of autonomy.
Experience preparing financial materials for executives, investors, or Boards.
Experience with Ramp, Paychex Flex, HubSpot, or comparable platforms.
Experience working with outside accountants, tax advisors, auditors, banks, or other financial partners.
CPA, finance/accounting background, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with SaaS metrics and recurring-revenue business models.
You may have spent the first several years of your career becoming very good at finance and are now looking for the opportunity to own more of the business.
You enjoy analysis and strategy, but you don't believe you're above the operational work required to make a company run well. You are comfortable creating the spreadsheet, making the recommendation, implementing the process, and then running it.
You like having a wide field of responsibility. When something falls between functions, your instinct is to figure it out rather than point out that it belongs to someone else.
Most importantly, you want the opportunity to build. Takt is growing, and the person who succeeds in this role will have the opportunity to help shape what Finance and Business Operations become as the company scales.
Company financial information is accurate, timely, understandable, and readily available to leadership.
AP, AR, invoicing, expenses, payroll administration, and other recurring financial processes run reliably.
Leadership and the Board have clear visibility into actual performance, budgets, forecasts, cash, runway, and key business drivers.
Forecasting accuracy and financial planning improve as the company scales.
Takt's cash is managed thoughtfully while maintaining appropriate liquidity and controls.
Recurring business, payroll, and compliance obligations are completed correctly and on time.
Revenue forecasts increasingly connect pipeline, bookings, contracts, billing, and actual revenue.
Financial and operational processes become more scalable and less dependent on company leadership handling them personally.
The role anticipates problems, identifies opportunities, and progressively increases the operating leverage of the company.
Ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where we learn from each other is core to Takt's values. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer and supportive place to work. Takt will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations to participate in the interview process, perform essential job functions, and receive other benefits of employment.
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Takt is a SaaS warehouse labor-management and intelligence platform serving retailers, e-commerce companies, and 3PL providers.
