Finance Assistant

• Provide hands on support during month end close, including journal preparation, variance analysis, and data validation.
• Assist with the preparation of management reporting packs and analysis.
• Liaise with regional finance teams to ensure timely submission of intercompany confirmations and supporting data.

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, or process inefficiencies.
• Support the development of improved processes, controls, and reporting tools for intercompany and month end activities.
• Contribute to system enhancements or automation initiatives that improve accuracy and reduce manual workload.
• Adhere to the Group’s Non Conformance reporting requirements.
• Will play a key part in new system/ERP implementations.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience working with financial data, reconciliations, or month end processes.
• Ability to work across multiple accounting systems and manage data consistency between them.
• Confident using Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with finance teams across multiple regions.

• Knowledge of intercompany transfer pricing frameworks.
• Experience in a multinational or multi entity group environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, Dynamics).
• Experience with data analysis tools or BI platforms.

• Proactive, curious, and willing to investigate discrepancies thoroughly.
• Comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity.
• Strong problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.

• AAT Level 3 or Level 4 (or equivalent) OR relevant practical experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and intercompany accounting.
• Competence in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet month end deadlines.
