Role Overview
Support day-to-day financial operations in a full-time remote Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role.
Work with management and team members to ensure financial information is recorded accurately, promptly, and compliantly.
Financial Operations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist with credit control activities and outstanding balance collections.
- Prepare basic financial reports and support the accounting function as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Skills in finance and accounting, including basic bookkeeping and understanding of financial records and ledgers.
- Credit control skills, including monitoring outstanding balances and supporting effective collection processes.
- Ability to handle petty cash accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
