About the Role
The Finance Analyst provides financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and management reporting support for the Diabetes Care division covering the Gulf and Pakistan region. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and five years of FP&A experience, ideally in pharma or healthcare.

- Support monthly and quarterly forecasting and business review cycles, working closely with country General Managers on sales and expense forecasts
- Correlate sales pipeline data to financial forecasts and communicate consolidated forecasting packages to Regional HQ on a timely basis
- Provide in market and to market inventory analysis for distributor markets across the Gulf and Pakistan
- Manage headcount and expense forecasting by country and by function
- Facilitate variance analysis against financial commitments and load forecast data into the financial system
- Coordinate the monthly close of financial books and maintain the integrity of the P&L
- Develop business cases for new product launches, tenders, and country level projects
- Collaborate with country teams to identify new business opportunities
- Support Regional HQ function managers and country management with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Drive continuous process improvements and value added analytics across current operations
- Ensure compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA or professional accounting qualification preferred
- Minimum five years of post qualification experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Cognos based financial systems is an advantage
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred
- Strong business acumen with well developed analytical and data gathering skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
- Proactive, self starting approach with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team player with clear and effective communication skills
