About the Role

Finance and Accounting Leadership

• Lead finance and accounting functions, develop financial strategies, and advise the CEO and senior management.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial records, statements, accounting policies, controls, and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and long-term planning.

Treasury, Tax, and Audit

• Manage liquidity, cash-flow forecasts, working capital, banking relationships, receivables, payables, and payment schedules.
• Ensure UAE tax and financial compliance, including VAT and corporate tax processes where applicable.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, remediate findings, and strengthen financial risk controls.

Reporting and Commercial Finance

• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analysis of revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
• Evaluate opportunities, pricing, cost optimization, investments, acquisitions, markets, products, projects, and partnerships.
• Translate financial information into recommendations supporting strategic and operational decisions.

Team and Process Leadership

• Lead and develop finance personnel, establish objectives and KPIs, and build an accountable finance organization.
• Improve workflows, controls, ERP and financial-management systems, automation, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Lead finance transformation and process-improvement initiatives.

Required Background

• Strong senior-level experience in finance, accounting, or financial management is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related discipline is required.
• Typically 10–15+ years of progressive experience with substantial management responsibility is expected.
• Strong UAE tax, financial compliance, reporting, controls, analysis, and stakeholder-management capability is required.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills are required.

Preferred Background

• ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
• Arabic language skills, UAE/GCC experience, ERP experience, postgraduate study, and international or multi-entity experience are advantageous.
