This role supports multiple projects across Castlemain, with a primary focus on the Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement , helping Class Members navigate the claims process. Castlemain ensures Claimants can access, understand, and respond to the Settlement, while providing support to complete and submit claims.

As a Bilingual Claims Helper , you will walk alongside Class Members throughout their claims journey by providing clear information about the settlement and claims process and offering trauma-informed one-on-one support virtually or by phone.

This permanent full-time position is open to candidates located across Canada.

Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe support to Class Members (virtually and in-person), including guidance on claim forms, resources, and the claims process.

Collaborate with Claims Helpers to ensure coordinated, effective support and address any service gaps.

Build and maintain relationships with communities, organizations, and local partners.

Assist Class Members with claim completion, status updates, appeals, and connections to mental health, legal, and cultural support.

Participate in ongoing training and learning to strengthen skills and deliver effective support throughout the Settlement claims process.

Contribute to a safe, healthy, and respectful workplace by complying with health and safety policies, communicating openly, and supporting ongoing risk and injury prevention.
