With this growth comes an exciting opportunity for a Structural Steel Field Welder to join our field services installation team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys getting out of the shop and working on different projects and job sites.

Travel is required and depending on the location and scope of the project, you may be away from home for a few days or several weeks at a time.

If you’re a reliable, self-motivated welder who takes pride in your work, enjoys variety and is comfortable working independently in the field, we want to hear from you!

• Fabricate and repair equipment, structures and various types of metal objects using an array of welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW and SMAW
• Installation and erection of steel, troubleshooting installation and finding solutions
• Analyze drawings, and sketches to determine measurements, layouts and sequence of welding assignments
• Examine welds and surfaces to discover flaws to ensure they meet the required standards
• Must be able to grind and finish parts to specification, operate drill press, grinder, power say & other hand tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company trucks at all times to ensure a professional and safe work environment
• Take responsibility for the care and proper use of field trucks, tools, equipment, and trailers , including safe storage and transport
• Perform regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding machines, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness and longevity
• Provide daily updates to the Supervisor or Lead Hand on project progress, site issues, and equipment status to support clear communication and efficient workflow
