Field Technicians and Field Assistants

Physically able to hike up to 10 hours per day through rugged terrain with a backpack weighing up to 40lb.

Experience working or recreating safely off-trail in mountain environments.

Good sense of direction and bush navigation skills- prior experience with map, GPS and compass an asset.

Able to communicate effectively in English, in person, over email, and in the field using a handheld radio.

Strong safety record and adherence to HSE systems.

Experience working around helicopters an asset.

Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Preferably possesses a valid Canadian passport.

Other language skills (particularly Spanish) an asset.

Ability to solve problems in the field with the tools and materials at hand.

Ideal candidate would have some mechanical and electrical repair experience.

Job Type: Contract, full time.

Location: Global with a concentration in Western Canada.
