Responsibilities
- Other duties and projects as required.
- Liaison with District HSE on day-to-day HSE functions and report any significant events to QHSE Manager.
- HSE Management & Implementation Implement and maintain the site/project HSE Management System (HSEMS), aligned with corporate standards and local legislation. Ensure all operations comply with client and local authority regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, safety walks, and hazard hunts to identify unsafe acts or conditions. Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) from audits, observations, and investigations are tracked and closed in a timely manner. Ensure all personnel follow HSE rules, safe work practices, and life-saving rules. Monitor safety performance via Key Performance Indicators (e.g., LTIs, MTIs, near-misses, unsafe acts, observations). Monitor and control safety-critical systems and equipment (e.g., Lockout / Tagout, fall protection, and personal protective equipment). Maintain records of incidents, audits, safety observations, and corrective actions. Prepare drafts and/or revisions to policy, procedures, or guidelines. Continuous monitoring of policies and procedures to make recommendations to the QHSE Manager for improvements or updates. Oversee compilation of information on equipment damage, high-potential incidents, near miss, and audits.

Conduct health awareness campaigns (food hygiene, heat stress, communicable diseases, etc.). Maintain camp safety reports, inspection checklists, and nonconformance records. Implement the Well-Being program.

Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and recordkeeping skills, use of a personal computer and various software packages, including typing skills of at least fifty (50) words per minute. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to travel to work sites within the district and/or other areas. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position for another drilling/service contractor or 6 months of service with Nabors Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports. Must be able to communicate with upper management as well as semi-skilled laborers to help ensure a clear understanding of company HSE guidelines, rules, policy, and procedure. Must be familiar with Saudi local law and regulations, can understand client requirements, and follow up on implementation. Hold HSE professional certificate(s), such OSHA-30H, NEBOSH IGC.
