IRCS TECHNICIAN III

The IRCS Technician III is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated tubular handling systems on drilling rigs.

This role ensures the successful deployment of automated pipe handling systems for the safe and efficient movement of drill pipe and casing using robotic technologies, contributing to personnel free drill floor, reduced manual handling, and enhanced rig safety.

• Support robotic pipe handling system operations during installation, commissioning, rig-up, drilling, and rig-down operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in real-time.
• Interface with rig crews and automation engineers to ensure optimal system performance.
• Monitor system diagnostics and telemetry for anomalies and performance metrics.
• Document maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
• Train rig personnel on robotic system operation and safety protocols.
• Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and company policies.
