Role Overview
The Field Service Representative is part of the East Region service team and provides on-site service across Anton Paar product lines.
The role primarily covers the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and reports to the East Region Field Service Manager.
Service Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites.
- Provide on-site installation and training across all product lines.
- Manage inventory, plan trips, and complete administrative tasks related to service functions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
- Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Availability for frequent overnight travel of up to 90%.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
Compensation
- The base salary range is $39.50–$44.80 per hour, depending on technical and service experience in analytical instrumentation.
- The position includes full benefits, profit-sharing contributions to a 401(k), anniversary bonuses, and additional bonus opportunities.
Territory and Work Location
- The role provides on-site customer service across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
- The ideal location is in or near Newark, New Jersey, although other major cities in the territory may be possible.
- Frequent overnight travel may reach up to 90%.
