Technical Sales Consultant, Texture and Extrusion

• Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.
• Presenting to small and large audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing business.
• Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
• 2 years of technical sales experience and two years of polymer extrusion experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

As a Technical Sales Consultant and key member of the Eastern Region sales team, you drive business growth in the texture and extrusion product lines within the Eastern United States.

Your location is ideally near Hartford, CT, but locations near New Jersey, New York, and the New England area may be possible.

You will report to the Eastern Sales Director in Ashland, VA.

The base salary range for this position is $93,100/y to $105,400/y.
