Field Service Mechanic

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946 , is actively recruiting for the position of field service mechanic in our Cedar City location.

• Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries .

Responsibilities:

• Daily work on crushers, screens, conveyors
• Interaction with customers on-site for repairs
• Diagnose and repair various heavy equipment machinery utilize all technical support resources in troubleshooting and identifying parts needed for repair
• utilize all technical support resources in troubleshooting and identifying parts needed for repair
• Organize and document service visits and travel as applicable
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work with minimal supervision
• Inspect crushers, screens, conveyors
• Cleaning crushers, screens, conveyors
• Drive motor vehicles - reliable transportation required

Qualifications:

• Crusher or Heavy Equipment experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of MSHA regulations
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
• Familiarity with shop and field safety protocols
• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience
• Commercial Drivers License ( CDL ) or ability to obtain a CDL
