Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Gilead/Kite as a Field Medical Manager within the Cell Therapy Medical Affairs team based in Saudi Arabia to cover Saudi and potentially the GCC.
  • This field based role is responsible for engaging with hematology/oncology thought leaders and healthcare professionals, and acting as a strategic scientific partner contributing to local medical strategy.
  • The role requires building structured stakeholder engagement plans, supporting evidence generation, and collaborating cross functionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in peer to peer scientific exchange of complex clinical and scientific information
  • Develop and foster strong scientific relationships with Thought Leaders and HCPs
  • Provide clinical/scientific presentations to internal and external groups
  • Compliantly provide internal teams with feedback and insights from interactions with HCPs
  • Engage in accrual enhancement activities with clinical trial sites
  • Provide support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings
  • Adhere to corporate and healthcare compliance guidance in all activities
  • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in hematology/oncology
  • Establish and maintain ongoing long term collaborative relationships with HCPs
  • Respond to and document unsolicited requests for scientific information
  • Provide clinical input and training to internal functions as requested
  • Support content development and delivery of clinical presentations at Advisory Boards

Knowledge, Experience And Skills

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with significant clinical and research experience in key therapeutic areas
  • Industry experience essential, ideally including recent successful launch within oncology or hematology (Multiple Myeloma advantage)
  • Working understanding of hospital and community practice hematology/oncology departments and systems
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent judgment, ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international conferences including occasional weekend travel
  • Fluent in English and local language
