FI Risk - Core Java Backend Developer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bonds migration project and collaborate with stakeholders across teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Design, develop, and implement Bonds measures and publish risk data to Rates Data, CRMR, XRS, and other partner systems.
• Lead and mentor developers while maintaining coding standards and development best practices.
• Complete migration for Consent Order eligible countries and more than 60 additional Local Market countries.
• Perform feasibility studies, estimates, systems analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user support.
• Assess risk, recommend security measures, define operating standards, and manage control issues.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
• Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and changing requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.

Technical skills

• Java or .NET Core, microservices, APIs, Kafka, Flink, and ECS are required technologies for the role.
• The role requires application development, risk technology, and systems analysis expertise.
