Role Overview

The role is a hands-on Branch Manager position for a ladies-only wellness club.

The manager owns daily operations, team leadership, member experience, and commercial growth.

Club Operations

  • Oversee the daily operation of studios, café, reception, changing rooms, and member facilities.
  • Manage class schedules, staffing, stock levels, presentation, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and coordinate with suppliers and maintenance providers.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage coaches, front-of-house staff, and café staff.
  • Create a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Manage schedules, monitor performance, provide feedback, and support recruitment and onboarding.

Business Development

  • Own monthly branch targets and drive memberships, class participation, retention, and revenue.
  • Develop initiatives, convert enquiries into members, and build partnerships that generate leads.
  • Monitor branch performance and create a sales- and success-focused culture.

Member Experience

  • Build relationships with members and understand the drivers of engagement and loyalty.
  • Handle feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Create a welcoming, motivating, and community-focused club atmosphere.

Coaching and Classes

  • Contribute to the class schedule and cover classes when required.
  • Lead by example in coaching standards, energy, professionalism, and member engagement.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong understanding of the fitness, wellness, boutique studio, or health club industry.
  • Previous management or leadership experience is desirable.
  • Commercially minded, organized, proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable with performance targets.
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Coaching Experience

  • Experience or qualification in strength, functional fitness, or indoor cycling classes is desirable.
