Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and friendly **Cashier** to join our team!
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
- Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of shift.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
- Inform customers about current promotions and loyalty programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle transactions accurately.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
