An engineering consultancy in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant with UAE-based accounting experience. The role involves full-cycle accounting, QuickBooks management, VAT compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle accounting including GL, AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Manage and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance with FTA regulations.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
- Create and monitor company budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Support management in strategic planning through financial analysis.
- Prepare project specific financial summaries and cost allocations.
- Ensure accurate recording of intercompany and contractor transactions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of UAE based accounting and clerical experience
- Must be on a Husband/Family Visa
- Expertise in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Solid knowledge of VAT/FTA regulations and UAE Labor Law
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Arabic language (Preferred)

Job Overview

- Pay: AED 3,000 AED 4,000 per month.
