We are seeking an Failure Analysis & Test Systems Engineer
Rockford Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Failure Analysis & Test Systems Engineer to join the Product
Validation & Quality organization.
This position is responsible for investigating product failures across validation, manufacturing, and field environments
while supporting the development and sustainment of automated test systems. The engineer will drive root cause
analysis, corrective actions, reliability improvements, and continuous quality enhancements across Amplifier, Speaker,
and Connected Product platforms.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical problem solver with strong electronics debugging skills, a passion for
understanding product behavior, and an interest in automated test software and test system architecture.
Lead investigations of Design Validation (DV), Production Validation (PV), manufacturing, and field-return
failures.

Perform systematic root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, and Pareto
analysis.
Develop containment and corrective action recommendations.

Participate in validation gate reviews and product readiness assessments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on failure data and field performance.
Learn and support automated End of-Line (EOL) test systems.
Maintain LabVIEW-based test sequences and production test software.
Support Python-based automation and data analysis tools.
Assist with troubleshooting test fixtures, interface hardware, and production test stations.
Provide backup support for ATE Test Engineering activities when required.
Support deployment and sustainment of test systems at domestic and international manufacturing locations.
Analyze yield trends, failure rates, and product quality metrics.
Develop reports and dashboards supporting Validation and Quality initiatives.
Support traceability and data integrity requirements for production and validation testing.
Assist in identifying opportunities for increased automation and process efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology,
Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
1-3 years of engineering or technical experience preferred.
Entry-level candidates with strong hands-on electronics experience will be considered.
