- JOB TITLE: Application Technician
- Rockford Fosgate is seeking an innovative, product manager to join our Product Development team to support our
- aftermarket and OEM product managers in the automotive, motorcycle, marine, motorsports infotainment space.
- This position reports to the Director of NPD
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with audio solutions for vehicle level builds for the automotive, marine, motorsports, and
- motorcycle categories.
- Fabrication of mounting plates, enclosures using wood, fiberglass, resin materials. Painting, sanding,
- texturing, other finishing methods.
- Assists marketing with the creation of displays and other materials
- Attends industry shows and shares information to capitalize on opportunities/trends in the
- marketplace.
- Tunes and tests vehicles
- Maintains knowledge of all current and past Rockford products.
- Brainstorming new product and category concepts in the automotive, motorcycle, motorsports and
- marine infotainment space
- o Source units, speakers, subwoofers, amps, DSP management, vehicle level integration,
- future growth categories
- Defines application requirements, specs, to yield class-leading infotainment products
- Driving feature/benefit analysis through the development process in support of outward marketing
