What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field with 0–2 years of experience (new graduates welcome). Relevant coursework, capstone projects, and internships count toward experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component data sheets
• Familiarity with electrical systems and components (PCBA, MOSFETs, IGBTs, Capacitors, Relays, Cable Harness, etc.) including their failure modes/mechanisms
• Familiarity with or exposure to electrical test equipment such as Digital Multi-meter (DMM), Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Electronic Loads, etc.
• Familiarity with physical failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy and 2D / 3D X-ray
• Experience applying problem solving tools including Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter; comfortable driving investigations with limited guidance and adapting approach as new data emerges
• Interest in electronics industry such as automotive, consumer electronics, solar, electric vehicle, AI data centre, or battery
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time

• Campbell, CA
• The base salary range for this role is $83K – $112K per year. In addition, this position is eligible for annual merit-based RSU grants.
