The employer is seeking an experienced Factory Manager with extensive steel fabrication knowledge to lead a manufacturing facility.
The role is responsible for production efficiency, quality, safety, equipment, materials, team leadership, and factory management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the steel fabrication factory.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Implement and monitor production schedules and coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, including supervisors and operators.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and manage factory equipment, including required maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar steel fabrication role.
- In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- At least two years of supervisor experience.
