- Oversee the entire manufacturing process of furniture and joinery products, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Manage, motivate, and coordinate the work of the production team, including carpenters, joiners, and other skilled workers
- Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment
- Monitor and control production costs, budgets, and inventory levels
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control throughout the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and sales teams to meet project specifications and customer expectations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality
- Conduct regular training and development sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge of staff
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar role in furniture manufacturing or joinery
- Strong knowledge of furniture design, carpentry, joinery techniques, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments
- Ability to manage budgets, inventories, and production schedules effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams

Job Overview
