The Facility Technician ensures that Division facilities and grounds provide safe, clean environments for learning and working and works collegially as part of both the school team and the Division-level Facilities team.
Key Responsibilities
include assisting in operating and maintaining heating plant systems, performing a broad range of preventative maintenance, general maintenance, repair and cleaning functions.
As per the collective agreement, depending on school needs, Facility Technicians may work rotating shifts.
Qualifications - Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent. - Valid Fireman’s Certificate. - Successful completion of Division-provided and required training and development.
Primary Location: THOM COLLEGIATE Salary Range: As per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Shift Type: Permanent Full-Time - 40 Hours/Week
